On Saturday morning, the Panthers held their second and final day of Training Camp at the Panthers Ice Den. All three groups got a workout session, but Group C and Group A (the winner of yesterday’s scrimmage) took the ice on the stadium rink for this intrasquad game. Here is the full roster.

After holding a 3-0 lead throughout the first half of the game, the Rampage fell back down to Earth with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Barons. The Rampage gave up three power-play goals on Saturday night, and that ended up being the difference in the game.
On Wednesday night, the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage will begin their quest for the Calder Cup against the Oklahoma City Barons in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Division winners for the first time in franchise history, the Florida Panthers minor league affiliate hopes to go on a lengthy playoff run and capture the franchise’s first Calder Cup championship.

According to Craig Custance of ESPN Magazine, the Florida Panthers have been informed by Zach Hyman’s camp that the prospect will not sign with the team prior to the August 16th collegiate signing deadline.
Panthers have been notified that prospect Zach Hyman won’t be signing w/them. Possible he gets traded before hitting UFA on Aug. 16.
